Turkey Spaghetti Bake

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small skillet saute the vegetables in butter until tender.
  2. In a large bowl combine the broth, soup, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a 2 1/2 quart baking dish coated with cooking spray, layer the chopped turkey, spaghetti and vegetable mixture. Pour broth mixture over the top.
  4. Cover and bake for 60 minutes or until spaghetti is tender, stirring once. Uncover and sprinkle with cheese and paprika. Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

  • This was very flavorful and a nice big portion. We cooked the noodles seperately and next time I think we would either omit or cut down on the broth since it's not needed to cook the noodles.

  • Thanks for the great recipe Twila! I didn't have the problem with the clumping noodles as mentioned earlier. Although, I did prep the meal last night and cook it this evening, so it has some extra time to absorb the liquid. I was a little short on turkey, so I measured out enough cottage cheese to compensate.

  • The first time I made this the uncooked spaghetti really clumped together and I had to work to seperate and evenly mix when done. Flavor is really good so I made again. This time I pre cooked the noodles and baked for 30 min. and it was perfect!

  • This was absolutely delicious. Very filling and hard to believe only a K3. Worked perfectly for afternoon K count.
