A healthy Hawaiian breakfast anytime.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup rice, cooked (sushi rice prefered)
- 5 ounces ground turkey breast (99% fat-free)
- 1 egg white
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 whole egg
- 1/2 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 2 teaspoons corn starch
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- K0 vegetables
Instructions
- Cook rice according to directions. Keep warm.
- Mix beef broth, soy sauce, cornstarch, and sugar together in a small jar or bowl until there are no lumps.
- In a bowl, mix ground turkey, an egg white, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into a patty. Spray a non-stick pan or grill, and cook over medium heat until fully cooked in the middle.
- Place the rice in a bowl and set the turkey burger over the top of the rice.
- Spray the same pan again with non stick and fry the whole egg over medium heat to your preferred level of doneness.
- Place the egg over the burger and rice.
- Pour the broth mixture into the pan over medium heat and allow to thicken, then pour over egg. Serve with a side of your favorite K0 veggie recipe like steamed asparagus or the red cabbage slaw.

- This is one of my favorite recipes. Instead of making a patty, I ground up the meat and throw it on top and scramble my egg. Plus I add zucchini and califlower It was almost like chinese rice/strifry. YUMMY!
